Dan Orloff, the man behind tonight's San Jose Rocks Hall of Fame induction at History Park, reports the group secured a dream item for the event's silent auction: Airfare and a VIP tour of Gibson USA's Nashville headquarters, where the company's great guitars are made, plus a red wine-colored Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar with gold hardware. ``Gibson does not offer public tours, so this item is of considerable value,'' Orloff said.
Tickets for the 5:30 p.m. concert and dinner are $100 per person and can be bought at the door or at www.sanjoserocks.org, where you can also share your stories about the South Bay's rock 'n' roll history.
